Champion Healthcare offers both Hospice and Palliative Care services to our patients.
A patient becomes eligible for Hospice when they have received a terminal diagnosis and have a life expectancy of 6 months or less. Our Hospice Services focus on pain relief and symptom management in an effort to keep the patient as comfortable as possible during this time, while maintaining their dignity.
If a patient has a been diagnosed with a serious illness but does not meet the criteria for Hospice, they may still be a candidate for Palliative Care, otherwise known as comfort care – focused on managing pain and symptoms of the disease. Palliative Care Services are available at any time in a patient’s disease, from diagnosis and throughout curative treatments.
Regardless of your diagnosis or prognosis, we provide you with a complete team of caregivers. Our team works to treat the symptoms of the disease, so the patient may live as fully and comfortably as possible.
